Our Mission

The mission of the Recycling Alliance of Texas is to promote and enhance recycling and diversion activities in the State of Texas. We will accomplish this by fostering communication and the exchange of information regarding recycling among professionals, organizations, governmental entities, and individuals; by complementing and coordinating recycling industry initiatives; and by acting as a clearinghouse of recycling resources.

Working with Texans to Preserve Texas

Whether you’re a person heading up the environmental group for your business, or you’re an individual concerned about the effects of solid waste on nature, your voice can be heard when you join us.

At the Recycling Alliance of Texas, we’re working with others on local, state and national levels to reduce, reuse, and recycle. That is what we’re talking about when we discuss “closing the loop” - completing the full circle of the recycling effort. So we’re uniting those who share our goal of sustaining the Texas environment. But we need your help — a larger voice means more input into the development of legislation, regulations and policy decisions.

More than a Strong Voice

We provide technical education pertaining to recycling. We deliver information to the public about selected recycling issues. And we offer programs that encourage recycling markets as well as economic development. So join the Alliance and together we’ll expand current recycling programs that reduce waste, conserve energy and protect our natural Texas environment for generations to come. Go ahead, become an ally of the Recycling Alliance of Texas today.
